"Are you coming?" Natalie didn't look up from shoving clothes into her backpack, unwilling to see Gabriel's expression.
"Nata... you can't leave."
"Watch me. You coming or not?"
"You can't leave Dad. He needs you."
She grimaced and balled up a shirt, cramming it into her bag. "He needs his shrink. Not me. Answer the fucking question, Gabriel."
He didn't respond at first, just looked down. Natalie sighed.
"You don't have to come. You stayed here when she left. If you want to stay now..."
"No, I'm coming. I just..." Gabriel said, glancing to the door. "I'm coming."
