Title: A Brown Family Christmas
Characters/Pairing: Natalie, mentions of the rest of the family
Word Count: 125
Rating: PG
Summary: Natalie hates Christmas, and always has.
Notes: Written as a Christmas drabble for
zorabet.
Disclaimer: I don't own Feeling Electric or any of its characters.
Natalie cannot stand Christmas.
There's always one too many stockings - and she can't poach her dead brother's stalking for treats since she developed that allergy to chocolate at seven.
There are too many presents under the tree, and again, Natalie would have no compunctions about taking them for herself, but she doesn't want Nerf guns or footballs or the Harry Potter books.
She doesn't get happy Christmas memories, she gets things like making Christmas cookies at five years old, with her mother telling her nonexistant brother to show Natalie how.
She can't help but think, one of these days, she's just going to burn down the damn Christmas tree, the presents, the stockings, her house, her life.
One day, but it's not today.
