Disclaimer: I don't own Rent. I also don't own tick, tick... BOOM!, in case you were wondering. Though, y'know, stands to reason that if I were to own one I'd own the other, but... whatever.
"Okay, now this is ridiculous," Benny muttered, glaring at the ceiling as it dripped water into the center of the floor. There was already a small puddle there.
"You were the one who found this apartment, remember?" Roger asked acidly, hiding in his leather jacket - it deflected most of the water, since wherever they tried to go in the loft, something inevitably dripped on their heads from the downpour outside.
"It was just fine until it started raining!" Benny snapped, trying to remember if they had any pots or bowls to put under this new leak. He was pretty certain there weren't - the few they had were already scattered around the loft, collecting water from other leaks.
"I'm just saying," Roger grumbled. Beside him, Mark shrugged helplessly.
"If you'd let us help with finding an apartment, I bet we'd have got one without a leaky ceiling."
Benny shook his head, still glaring at the puddle of water on the floor. "I'll call the landlord in the morning."
"Yeah," Roger snorted, huddling deeper into his jacket. "You do that."
