Sometimes Benny feels like he's the one going nowhere.
Roger's a rock star on the rise, playing at clubs around the city, shining with creativity, originality, life.
Mark is eternally focused on his work, and Benny's never met anyone so dedicated, so determined to create.
Collins is brilliant and seems to know the secret of a happy life - though he'd tell Benny there is no secret - and he could get into any school he wants.
And Benny doesn't know what the hell he's doing, Benny stands searching for some purpose, Benny is fixed in one place while his friends move ahead.
