"Sane people are asleep now," Benny muttered, clutching around him the blanket he had carried up to the roof. "Like we should be."

Mark, seemingly unaffected by the morning chill and much more awake than Benny, turned to grin at him. "Sane people don't get to see the sun rise," he replies, and leaned against Benny, resting his head against Benny's shoulder, his eyes fixed on the gradually lightening eastern sky. "Think what they're missing."

Benny shivered once and pressed a little closer to Mark as they huddled together on the rooftop. The things he did for Mark... "Lucky them."
