Another one of the many many things I love about Doctor/Donna is the ability to heap on the crack and break you with angst and not feel overbearing or forced at all. I just have this feeling that the Doctor would hate himself for what he did to Donna, because although he's been responsible for so many deaths, it's been a long time since he personally killed anything, had his 'finger on the trigger', like. And to do it to his best friend...devastating. Their voices are so well done, I love it all, it's great reading.
